We had a successful Squash Tour to Port Elizabeth. We played 8 games, won 4 and lost 4. Our boys, Nicholas Paul, Kameran Jinnah, Daniel Bezuidenhout and Muzuva Gutu. Outstanding performance from Nicholas Paul who won 6 out of his 8 matches. The Zimbabwe team finished 5^th out of 9 teams.

Aiden Jinnah took part in the B section, he had a successful tournament winning 6 out of 8 matches. He had the distinction of playing the most exciting match in our tournament against Eastern Province number 2.  Aiden was playing the final match and had to win 3 games for us to claim an overall victory, or win two games for us to snatch an overall draw. His opponent was better technically, with more experience and he very fast.  Both players put their all into the final game.  There was a see-saw of emotions from the crowd who collectively groaned in defeat and yelled in victory as each one of these mini-gladiators lost and then won a point.  Aiden emerged victorious 16-14 in the fifth.  All the boys behaved impeccably and were a credit to their country and respective schools.
