NIAA Vocal & Instrumental Eisteddfod Results

In the recently ended National Vocal and Instrumental Eisteddfod, our musicians attained a total of 14 Honours grades across a range of disciplines (Honours = 90% or above).

Soloists that achieved honours grades are:

All of the major bands in the school also achieved Honours grades:

  • Pipe Band
  • Drum Corps
  • Intermediate Marimba Ensemble
  • Advanced Marimba Ensemble
  • Jazz Band

The Senior A Capella joined forces with Chisipite this year and achieved an Honours grade.

The College musicians were awarded three trophies:

  • Best Open Piper – Nakayi Chamba
  • Best Snare Drummer – Russel Mubaya
  • Best African Piece – Advanced Marimba Ensemble (scored 96%)
