A Cultural Evening “Africa Welcomes the World” was held at the College on Thursday 30th May 2013. It was a great success with 9 countries being represented, namely Algeria, Cameroon, China, France, Israel, Holland, India, Lebanon, South Africa and Zimbabwe. During the April holidays a number of sporting and cultural tours took place. St. John’s College (Johannesburg) Easter Rugby Festival The College participated in this prestigious annual season opener. The first two games were wins for us, including against our hosts. College | Pipe Band Fundraiser

The Kilted Generation A superb musical show featuring the St John’s College Pipe Band and accompanying singers plus electric band. A fundraiser for the band’s proposed trip to Glasgow, Scotland, for the World Pipe Band Championships in August. Reps is giving the venue for free and everyone’s invited to support this worthy cause. This year, for the first time, the Art Department organized an Art Camp away from the College. It included the Form 4, Lower Six and Upper Six art students.
